  • Transport department extends last date for 10,000 Auto permits online registration

Transport Department has extended the last date for filing of applications for online registration of Auto Rickshaw permits till 27th February. 

The department had earlier notified beginning of the process to invite applications for 10,000 Auto Rickshaw permits through on line registration.

It has now come to notice that many eligible applicants were not able to apply, particularly those whose driving licenses were under process for renewal as on 17.01.2017 or expired before 17.01.2017 and renewed after 17.01.2017.

Transport Minister Mr Satyendar Jain has directed the department to extend the last date in public interest from 17th February to 27th February.
The applicants who could not apply for Auto Rickshaws till 17th February will have the opportunity to file their applications at www.transport/delhi.govt.in  till 27th February in conformation the guidelines dated 08.08.2012, issued by Auto Rickshaw Branch, Transport Department.
