  •  Office order issued to facilitate timely and smooth implementation of cashless transactions.
  • Prepaid Suvidha cards will be issued to employees instead of cash for payment of Contingency advance/ imprest advance and other advances.
  • 45 POS machines (25 at liquor vends and 20 at other officers/ projects) are expected to be installed and made functional by 22 December 2016.

    The proposal for putting up 139 locations would be done within next 25 days.

DTTDC, the tourism promotion arm of Delhi Government has taken an official order to make a push for cashless transactions.

Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra said, "The corporation will make all the payments to employees, contractors and stakeholders for salary, excise, rentals and procurement of goods and services through digital mode only. We are taking all precautions and actions to ensure that we can smoothen life for consumers and citizens of Delhi."

Employees of DTTDC will be issued Prepaid Suvidha cards through banks for the payment of Contingency advance/ imprest advance and other advances. It is proposed to provide the visitors/users an additional option to pay through cash less mode at all location/ offices/ projects. 

At present, 100% receipts are received through cash less mode in sale of empty cartons and course fee.

 DTTDC would require 184 swipe machines, which include 159 swipe machines for liquor vends, and 20 at other units/divisional offices/ Project offices. At present, 1 POS machine is installed and functional at CRO office. It is expected that 45 POS machines (25 at liquor vends and 20 at other officers/ projects) would be installed and made functional by 22 December 2016. The proposal for putting up 139 locations would be done within next 25 days keeping in view of constraints due to availability of POS machines with the bank.
