Delhi govt to hold public consultation on odd/even on 6 & 7 Feb
Delhi government will hold public consultations with the residents of the national capital on February 6 and 7 to ascertain their views on the odd/even formula for vehicles.
Deputy Chief Minister Mr Manish Sisodia on Friday chaired a preparatory meeting with the officials and MLAs to work out the modalities on how to conduct the exercise.
The meeting was attended by PWD Minister Mr Satyendar Jain, Tourism Minister Mr Kapil Mishra, Divisional Commissioner Mr A Anbarasu, Special Commissioner Transport Mr Ankur Garg, all District Magistrates, ADMs, SDMs and MLAs.
Following decisions were taken at the meeting :
- Atleast four meetings should be held in every Vidhan Sabha constituency on February 6 & 7.
- SDMs in consultation with MLAs will decide the venues in each Vidhan Sabha.
- MLAs will be responsible for distribution of pamphlets informing the residents about the time and venues in their respective areas.
- Residents should be informed well in advance about the time and venues of these meetings.

The Transport department will soon put in public domain an online form and will also make public a phone number for inviting the public views.
