- DEPUTY CHIEF MINISTR, SHRI MANISH SISODIA INAUGURATES EXHIBITION OF ACTIVITIES & ACHIEVEMENTS OF DELHI GOVERNMENT AT DELHI PAVILION.
- MINISTER OF INDUSTRIES, SHRI SATYENDAR JAIN, ENVIRONMENT MINISTER, SHRI IMRAN HUSSAIN & CHIEF SECRETARY, SHRI K.K. SHARMA ALSO VISITED THE PAVILION.
Deputy Chief Minister, Delhi, Shri Manish Sisodia today inaugurated the exhibition of achievements & activities of Delhi Government at Delhi Pavilion in Pragati Maiden, Delhi. He was accompanied by Minister of Industries, Shri Satyendar Jain, Environment Minister, Shri Imran Hussain & Chief Secretary, Shri K.K. Sharma also visited the pavilion. Principal Secretaries, Secretaries & HODs of different Departments were also present on this occasion.
E-GOVERNANCE
1. IT IS ENDEAVOR OF THE GNCTD TO SWITCH OVER COMPLETELY TO E-GOVERNANCE, WHICH PRIMARILY MEANS GOVERNANCE BY APPLICATION OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY.
2. E-GOVERNANCE WILL BE HELPFUL IN PROVIDING GOVT. TO CONSUMER (G-2-C) SERVICES QUICKLY IN A TRANSPARENT AND COST EFFECTIVE WAY.
3. THE INITIATIVES / REFORMS UNDERTAKEN BY THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES OF GOVT. OF NCT OF DELHI ARE BRIEFLY GIVEN BELOW :
(1) STARTING A BUSINESS
(i) VAT Registration
· Applications for registration under DVAT Act, 2004 are being received on line.
· TIN and Provisional VAT Registration is issued on real time i.e. one day.
· Dealers can transact business and issue invoices on the basis of provisional VAT Registration.
· A Mobile app [DVAT MSewa App] for grant of Permanent VAT Registration without inspection in real time launched on 31st May, 2016.
(ii) Registration under Shops and Establishment Act
· Online Shop Registration is possible on the same day on the basis of the self certification by the applicant.
· No fee is charged for obtaining registration under the Shops and Establishment Act.
(ii) Udyog Aadhar Number (UAN) under MSMED Act, 2006
· On-line Registration and issue of Udyog Aadhar Number for Starting/Operating MSMEs is in operation.
(2) CONSTRUCTION PERMIT
· On-line sanction of Building Plans for Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Warehouse buildings with Common Application Form (CAF) under Single Window Clearance System is in operation.
· Unified Building Bye-Laws – 2016 have been notified by MoUD on 22.03.2016 and adopted by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi vide letter dated 17.06.2016.
· As per provisions of Unified Building Bye Laws 2016, the sanctioned building plan is to be issued within 30 days and the concerned external agency has to issue NOC / clearance within 15 days.
(3) GETTING ELECTRICITY
Self certification by DISCOM instead of NOC from Labour Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi up to 11KVA implemented.
· LT Connection up to 200 KW is permitted.
· Service line cum Development Charges for sanctioned load more than 100 KW and up to 200 KW (215 KVA) has been fixed at Rs.310/ KVA.
· Number of procedures reduced to three. The three procedure are :
a) Field inspection on receipt of application.
b) Load sanction and issue of demand note.
c) Installation of meter and energisation of connection.
(4) PAYMENT OF TAXES
VAT (Local and Central), Property Tax, Vehicle Taxes, Electricity Bills, Water Bills are accepted on-line.
(5) WATER AND SEWER CONNECTION
· Application for water/sewer connection can be filed online. Required documents can be scanned and uploaded with the application.
· Payment can also be made online for mutation/reopening and disconnection. Bills can be viewed online.
· Consumer friendly portal available www.djb.gov.in
(A) SWACHH DELHI APP FOR A CLEANER CITY
· For the first time, the Delhi government and municipal corporations have come on a common platform to clean Delhi. On the lines of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, the Delhi government has also launched a Swachh Delhi Abhiyaan.
· Delhi Govt. launched a ‘Swachh Delhi app’ on which public can upload photographs of garbage or construction waste and the corporations will clean it up.
· The users can give a missed call on 7666400400 following which they will receive an SMS containing the link to download this application. It can also be downloaded from the Google play store.
· Residents can click the photograph of garbage and concrete waste in their respective areas and upload it on the app. The photographs will go to a common server of the PWD, which will identify the area through the map and inform the civic body concerned.
· The three MCDs will clear the garbage and the PWD will take the responsibility of cleaning the concrete waste. The senders of photographs of garbage and concrete waste will be sent follow-up messages and in case they are not satisfied with the work, they can send a reminder again.
(B) AAM AADMI MOHALLA CLINICS
· Govt. of NCT of Delhi has planned to open 1,000 mohalla clinics by the end of this year, offering healthcare at doorstep.
· The Govt. has also introduced an automatic medicine dispenser on a pilot basis. The dispenser, which works on sensor technology, will make the clinics more efficient and ensure transparency. The dispenser can hold up to 60-70 types of medicines, including syrups.
· The introduction of the medicine vending machine gives confidence to the patient. It also makes the process more transparent. The patient is getting medicines through the machine which means it is coming from the correct source.
