· Friday (22nd April) ambient air quality data collected from 74 locations in and around Delhi.
· Mobile teams of Delhi Pollution Control Committee collected air quality data to check the levels of PM 2.5 and PM 10 to ascertain air pollution levels.
· Friday’s data show a declining trend in air pollution in both PM 2.5 & PM 10 levels.
· PM 2.5 levels recorded within permissible limit (below 60) at 55 out of 74 locations.
· PM 2.5 levels recorded below 100 at all 74 locations.
· PM 10 levels recorded within permissible limits (below100) at 21 of the 74 locations.
· PM 10 recorded below 200 at 53 locations.
· In addition, the data from six fixed stations is always available in the public domain on the Delhi Pollution Control Committee website.
· Initial trends show Odd/Even will have a positive impact on Delhi’s air quality – concrete assessment will be made after assessing the data for a few more days.
