- Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Manish Sisodia releases the Annual Report of Delhi Minorities Commission for the year 2015-16 in the presence of Mr Qamar Ahmad, Chairman.
- Delhi Government will study the Report and Recommendations suggested Minorities Commission and will take the stock of the situation with regard to the persons belonging to minorities- Deputy Chief Minister
- Shri Sisodia assures that the benefits of the govt. schemes will be provided to minority people through creating awareness.
- The Chairman, Delhi Minorities Commission, Shri Kanwar Ahmad presented the annual report to Dy. Chief Minister.
The Delhi Government will launch Awareness Campaign to create Awareness among the people belonging to minorities in Delhi in order to provide benefits of various schemes, policies and programmes initiated by the Government for the welfare of the minorities. The Deputy Chief Minister, Govt. of Delhi, Shri Sisodia announced this, while releasing the Annual Report of Delhi Minorities Commission for year 2015-16 in his office at Old Secretariat Today. The Delhi Minorities Commission Chairman, Shri Qamar Ahmad handed over and presented the report to Shri Sisodia in presence of its’ member, Mr. Abrahim Patiani and the Secretary Dr. Jayadev Sarangi, IAS.
Shri Sisodia said that Delhi Government will study the recommendations made by Delhi Minorities Commission in this report and will also consider the suggestions therein for improving and ameliorating the social, educational and economic conditions of the people belonging to minority communities in Delhi.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the Delhi Govt. will ensure that no discrimination is meted out to the people belonging to the minority Community with regard to distribution of govt. resources, delivery of Services and in providing justice to them.
