The Government of Delhi on Tuesday, January 19, felicitated the 25-children selected for the National Bravery Awards 2015. Chief Minister of Delhi Sh. Arvind Kejriwal felicitated the children in presence of Deputy Chief Minister Sh. Manish Sisodia, Ministers Sh. Satyendar Jain, Sh. Sandeep Kumar and Sh. Imran Hussain at the Delhi Secretariat.
Welcoming the brave children the Chief Minister said, “You all are a source of inspiration for the nation, you all risked your lives to save others. Continue to be brave, never give in, and stay brave all your life. Government of Delhi is always there for you.”
Remembering his childhood days, the Chief Minister said, “On the Republic Day, it was the brave kids sitting on the elephants during the parade which was one of the most interesting part of the day.”
Lauding the children for their bravery, Deputy Chief Minister Sh. Manish Sisodia said, “I am so happy to meet you all, who are not afraid of anything. Otherwise, whoever you see is afraid of one thing or the other. But you are the ones who are not afraid even about your lives. I salute you all.”
Sh. Satyendar Jain, Sh. Sandeep Kumar and Sh. Imran Hussain also congratulated the children on the occasion and wished them the best for future.
