- Hon’ble CM Arvind Kejriwal launched Delhi Tourism’s Calendar & Diary – 2016

Sh. Arvind Kejriwal, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Govt. of Delhi launched the Calendar & Diary of the year 2016 brought out by Delhi Tourism & Transportation Development Corporation on behalf of Govt. of Delhi today at Delhi Secretariat. Sh. Manish Sisodia, Hon’ble Deputy CM, Sh. Kapil Mishra, Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Govt. of Delhi, Sh. Keshav Chandra, Chairman Delhi Tourism and Smt. Soumya Gupta, MD & CEO DTTDC and other senior officials of DTTDC & Delhi Government were also present on the occasion.
Delhi Tourism (DTTDC) has been bringing out Calendar & Diaries every year with a theme. This year’s theme has been kept – The Spirit of Delhi which strives to present its glorious past & magnificent present, to portray the ancient and modern blend of the city, to portray the responsibility the city takes in realizing the dreams of people from different walks of life, to display streets, cuisines and cultural diversity of Delhi, etc.
The Diary features, facts regarding ‘monuments, haunted places in city, regarding various modes of transportation in Delhi, historical importance associated to different Monuments, food of Delhi, different kind of languages and slangs used in Delhi, Seasons and Green Zone within Delhi’. It consists of 2 stickers of Qutub Minar & India Gate and also consists of 2 maps: One for the 7 cities of Delhi and another for famous eateries in Delhi. This will enable the user to get acquainted with the facts related to Delhi, and encourage citizens to explore Delhi, in all its glory.
